Before purchasing a replacement transformer, contact the light manufacturer to request the relevant technical information.

To determine if a transformer is compatible with your lights, pay attention to the following aspects:

  • Voltage (Volt): The transformer must have exactly the same voltage as the one being replaced;
  • AC or DC: The output voltage must be the same, AC (alternating current, also indicated by the symbol ~) or DC (direct current, indicated by the symbol =);
  • Power or Consumption (Watt): The power of the transformer must be equal to or greater than the consumption of the lights or the transformer being replaced;
  • Transformer plug: The connector for connecting to the transformer must be the same as that of the lights;
  • Controller: If the transformer being replaced has a built-in button for changing lighting effects or activating the timer, it may not work with a similar transformer with a controller provided by us.
