The integrated battery box features a practical 3-position switch:
- ON: continuous illumination
- TIMER: activates an 8-hour daily timer

The timer function is especially convenient: once activated, it keeps the decoration lit for 8 consecutive hours, then automatically switches it off for the next 16 hours. This way, it will light up every day at the same time without manual intervention.
